Design Board – Charleston Green

As the 4th wealthiest city in Colonial America, Charleston coined its very own deep green paint color that can still be seen throughout many historic parts of the city today. We’re bringing a little bit of that richness into this kitchen with our own nod to “Charleston Green,” alongside deep wood tones and subtle touches of gold.

About the Designer, Courtney Potts
Courtney received her B.S. in Interior Design with a Concentration in Business from East Carolina University in 2003. After completing her internship and serving as a designer at Kitchen and Bath Decisions in Greenville, NC, she moved to Bluffton, SC, where she has resided since. Courtney has just entered her 8th year as a designer with Center Point Cabinets and recently collaborated with a local builder and HGTV designer on the layouts and installation of cabinetry for the 2018 HGTV Smart Home in Palmetto Bluff. She is also an active member of the Coastal GA/SC Chapter of the NKBA and currently serves as Chapter President. When she’s not buried under drawings and door samples, you can find Courtney cooking or enjoying the outdoors with her daughter and fiancé and caring for their menagerie of animal friends.
