The Non-Working Kitchen was designed to prioritize hospitality, gathering, and visual impact over traditional kitchen utility. Conceived as an entertaining-focused environment, the space blends dramatic materiality with warm architectural detailing to create an atmosphere that feels tailored, intimate, and highly curated.
The design balances soft natural oak textures with deep painted finishes, layered stone surfaces, fluted detailing, and sculptural lighting. Every material was selected to reinforce warmth, texture, and contrast while maintaining a timeless transitional aesthetic.
Integrated wine storage, statement lighting, and carefully scaled cabinetry details transform the room into a destination space — one that feels equally suited for conversation, entertaining, and quiet luxury.
